Master of Science in Economics

This  is an important part of theoretical and applied analysis in economics  This course equips students with a working knowledge of the mathematical techniques most commonly used in these fields, providing the basis for their further studies. Topics include the matrix algebra, calculus and (unconstrained and constrained) optimization. Special emphasis is put on the illustration of the covered concepts and techniques with applications to typical problems in business and economics

The module of advanced applied econometrics2 applies advanced econometric approaches to apply economic theories. It discusses  times series data, forecasting, cointegration, VAR models, nonlinear and models. Students are expected to develop a macroeconomic model and run a macroeconomic analysis.

 This module is an applied econometrics course which is also going to expose the students to both  theoretical and applied econometrics.
