This
course explores advanced and emerging database technologies that support
complex and large-scale applications. It
builds upon fundamental database concepts to introduce advanced modeling,
distributed databases, data integration, performance optimization, and new
paradigms such as NoSQL and spatial databases. Students
gain theoretical understanding and hands-on experience with modern database
systems, architectures, and design principles in centralized and distributed
environments.
